T Group delivers “Elevator Pitch” for Entrepreneur Network

By

Los Angeles-based T Group Productions is readying a business competition series for digital content company, the Entrepreneur Network.

Elevator Pitch will give hopeful business magnates 60 seconds to pitch their best ideas to participating investors via a camera housed in an elevator, ascending to the executive floor. In the 12-episode web series, the contestants have a chance of opening the door to discuss the project further and accessing some of the funds — just under US$2 million — committed by the rotating panel of investors.

Even if the entrepreneurs don’t strike gold with their pitch via the investors on the panel, they still have an opportunity to bring their ideas to life via the program’s partner, IndieGoGo, through which they can develop fundraising campaigns for their projects.

“We are giving emerging business owners a stage to test both their ideas and their powers of persuasion in an intense and anticipation-filled format that will provide a launch pad for the best concepts,” said Entrepreneur Media president Bill Shaw in a statement. “We are thrilled to work with our investors on this show for Entrepreneur Network as part of our new roster of exciting digital offerings, and we look forward to bringing the viewers along for the ride.”

Investors taking part in the series include such execs as former football star Warren Moon, and CEO David Meltzer, both from Sports1 Marketing; Tapout co-founder Dan Caldwell; and Sprint’s Kim Green-Kerr.

T Group founder Jenny Daly (pictured), Rob Lobl, Jonathan Bogner and CB Harding serve as executive producers.

The Entrepreneur Network is available on demand via various platforms, including YouTube, Amazon Fire, Roku and Apple TV.
