Jenny Daly’s T Group Productions (Ozzy and Jack’s World Detour, Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings) and Wanda Sykes and Page Hurwitz’s Push It Productions (Last Comic Standing, Talk Show the Game Show) have teamed to produce competition format Throw Mama From the Game Show for the U.S. TV marketplace. The companies will be pitching the adult comedy project to broadcast and premium outlets this week.

Throw Mama from the Game Show is a one-hour elimination game show that pits teams of a mother and her millennial against one another to beat the competition while successfully conquering hilarious challenges. The challenges will increase in scale and test the teams’ relationships, mental capacities and physical abilities. For those mother/millennial teams that fail, mom will be expelled in epic fashion, while the one winning team that walks away unscathed will receive a flashy prize to help them get over any bruised familial feelings.

“This is going to be a lot of fun,” said Sykes. “I’m just happy my kids are too young to compete. They’d love to watch me get shot out of a cannon.”

Daly and Rob Lobl will excutive produce for TV Group, with Sykes and Hurwitz for Push It.

“From jokes to pranks, moms are the ultimate off-limits target,” said Daly, President of T Group Productions. “Putting them at the center of the punchline promises huge laughs, and with Wanda involved, it’s guaranteed to be a wild ride.”

T Group recently acquired digital house Big Boots Studio and established its own digital studio, T Group Media (TGM), and announced an overall co-production deal with EveryWhere Studios. T Group’s current slate includes the upcoming Very Cavallari starring Kristin Cavallari on E!, the third season of Ozzy and Jack’s World Detour (A&E), Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings (Freeform), Return of the Mac (Pop), 24 to Life (LMN) and Elevator Pitch (Entrepreneur Network) among others. The company also has co-production partnerships with Jack Osbourne’s Osbourne Media, Ann Roberts of Roberts Media, Simon Lythgoe of Legacy Productions, Beth Greenwald of Wax World Media and Paul Reany and Scott Weiner of Green Couch TV .

Push It Productions is behind Talk Show the Game Show on BET. Sykes is a consulting producer on Roseanne and recurs as Daphne on Black-ish. She previously was an executive producer on Last Comic Standing for NBC.
